If so how long did it take to receive it and do you like it?
I sent mine in back in April after Fred Hall and still looking for it. Received my tracking# for the process, but it say's I'm in the final stage before shipping.

This might be a dumb question but can this offer work for stuff on preorder? Example: If I preorder the US senators on tackle direct.

Ive been waiting since April 28th for my dry bag. that's when my check was cashed and I recieved an email saying the bag will be sent out. Called the rebate center 3 different times 15 days apart they say it was shipped out but could not provide me with a shipping tracking number. I also called Penn customer service twice they took all my info but have not gotten back to me with an update. I will call again monday morning. Im not very happy with Penn customer service. I'm willing to give it til the end of July then I want my $9.95 reimbursed.

Reminds me of the free (plus $6.95 s and h) t-shirt I was supposed to get from Penn after purchasing a spinning reel in january. They cashed my check for the shipping and handling a few weeks later, still no sign of the t-shirt. I had forgotten about it until I saw this post.

IIRC there was a short period back when you got your reel that they ran out of most shirt sizes, but your order obviously fell between the cracks when they were getting caught up.

Actually it looks like you need the UPC# not the SKU#.
Tunanorth - I didn't see this offer till recently. I only have the receipts with the SKU # as I don't have the boxes so I can't get the UPC #. Can I still get this offer by mailing in the receipts with SKUs?

I called Penn today and they told me they had nothing to do with their own promotion and they couldn't help me. I called the promo number and they put me on hold for about 15 minutes and told me to wait another 30 days and then call them back. I can live without the $9.95. I can live without the bag. I could have also lived without the $700 plus Penn reel I purchased with the promise of an added incentive that doesn't materialize even though I paid extra for it. I'm really pissed however at Penn for telling me they have nothing to do with my their own promotion. That's some great customer service there.

Rico, I'm with you 100%..Penn customer service really dropped the ball on this one. I'm in the same boat. Penn customer relations could use some pointers from Okuma.

Sorry it went down that way, but it is true that just about all rebates are handled by "fulfillment companies", a substantially larger number of bags needed than was predicted, and they literally have to get them made.
